Los Angeles: Saturday, October 11, 2008

The Beverly Hilton Hotel glittered with fairy dust and sparkled with celebrities on Saturday night, as Hollywood's well-heeled well-knowns gathered for the 2008 Runway for Life, a gala benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital was founded in 1962 by entertainer Danny Thomas.

His daughter Terre Thomas co-founded the Runway For Life gala in 2002, with fashion designer Robert Ellis, as a way of raising funds for the hospital.

The 2008 Runway for Life was officially sponsored by Disney's DVD and Blu-Ray Hi-Def release of Tinker Bell. Disney's sponsorship paid for the night, so that all funds raised would go directly to the hospital.

Robert Ellis, and Danny Thomas' children Terre, Marlo and Tony, hosted the evening.

Among the celebrities supporting the event were Haylie Duff and Jaime Pressly.
