Actress and celebrity Lake Bell, Dr. Laura Daughtery in Surface and Sally Heep in Boston Legal , has long, straight hair in an updo or up style. Her hair color is dark brown.

The hair is not parted. Instead, the hairline is exposed by drawing the hair up and back away from the face, and the top of the head receives a rounded, symmetrical contour.

At the temples and sides the hair is drawn backwards more or less horizontally, so that it tucks behind the ears or flows just over the top of them.

The hair above the middle of the forehead, at the widow's peak, is drawn backwards like a quiff, but angled to the right instead of running straight back.

The length of the hair, gathered at the back, remains unseen from the front.
