From the broader, right of the part, a wide section of smooth, straightened hair is drawn forward and down so that it crosses the forehead on an angle and tucks behind the ear. It crosses the rising hair line at the temple so the bangs seem to bend neatly round the eyebrow and onto the top of the cheek, and the mind's eye follows the implied, oval curve all the way round the cheek to the the chin. The smaller section of hair, left of the part, runs down at a steep, slightly rounded angle and tucks behind the ear. It curves round the edge of the forehead, past the eyebrow and onto the cheek so that a continuous curve, the other side of an oval, runs round the side of the face from brow to chin. A single lock of hair reaches out and down on each side, crossing in front of the ear and curving slowly, a chin-length arc suspended in the air.
