A small front section of hair from runs left on a shallow angle from the part, creating a curve at the edge of the forehead. A longer layer sweeps up and out from further back. Descending steeply over this forehead-rounding curve and continuing down the hair line, the over-layer conceals part of the eyebrow, glances the corner of the eye, and finally crosses the cheek line on a level with the tip of the nose. Opposite, on the right and wider side of the part, the hair is drawn down on a steeper forehead-rounding angle. As on the left a longer layer descends steeply over this angle, but here the over-layer descends inside the hair line and further inside the face. Curving gently inwards to the corner of the mouth then swinging away, it passes the chin and bends in sharply beneath it. Long wavy hair falls loosely on either side of this subtly left-shifted symmetry. The waves gain width and volume as they descend to the shoulders.
