Short, curly hair is parted on the right. The broader section of hair, left of the part, is drawn forward and down in wavy layers that cross the forehead in steep curves and flick up sharply along the line of the eyebrow and eye. Beneath the last flicks, curly layers swirl in from the side, encroaching well inside the cheek in a line that drops from the outer tip of the eye to the corner of the jaw. On the smaller, right side of the part, an S-shaped lock curves out round the edge of the forehead and back in again, glancing the tip of the eyebrow and touching the corner of the eye, then curves sharply out across the cheek. Curly hair swirls up and out on both sides, framing the cheeks and widening beside them, and tapering out of sight on different levels: on the right, behind the corner of the jaw; on the left, half way down the neck.
