Carrie's hair is parted in the middle and drawn down over the forehead in long bangs that cross the eyebrows and eyes and touch the middle of the cheeks. On one side the bangs form a long, gentle 'S' that travels down the face. On the other they flick suddenly up below the eye. The length of the hair is drawn back loosely but evenly to build a round shape above the ears, then swirls round the neck and forward onto one shoulder only. Carrie Underwood's hair color is blonde above a brown base, with yellow blonde highlights in the curls and pale blond highlights higher up.
