She was nominated for the award of Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her performance in Thirteen. Also nominated were Patricia Clarkson, Diane Keaton, Charlize Theron and Naomi Watts. The award was taken out by Charlize Theron for Monster.
